Independent evaluations of the gender and development work have recently been completed at the Asian Development Bank, European Investment Bank, International Fund for Agricultural Development, and the World Bank. This event will bring together the heads of the respective evaluation units to reflect on the progress made, explore similar findings across agencies, and raise challenging questions regarding mainstreaming gender issues, the play of incentives, and the measurement of results.
This interactive panel will conclude with lessons learned for more effective gender equality integration in lending operations and policy dialogues.
There were significantly more audience questions than the panelists had time to address. Participants from all four MDBs on the panel agreed to respond in writing to the questions that were not addressed live—see all responses in this document.
