Overcoming Stagnation in Aid-Dependent Countries

On March 23, 2005 CGD launched its latest book, Overcoming Stagnation in Aid-Dependent Countries, written by Non-Resident Fellow Nicolas van de Walle. CGD President Nancy Birdsall moderated the discussion at the launch, which was led by Nicolas van de Walle and discussant Mr. Edward V.K. Jaycox. The event was organized together with the World Bank 1818 Society, an association of former World Bank staff, and attracted about 100 participants.
