On September 30, 2002, the Center for Global Development hosted a roundtable discussion on "The Millennium Challenge Account: A New Model For Increased Aid Effectiveness?" This event, held in the context of the annual meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, brought together officials and non-government leaders from both donor and recipient countries for an open discussion on the MCA, aid effectiveness and ways to improve the current aid system.
